Hawcreek-Flat Rock Area Endowment

The Hawcreek-Flat Rock Area Endowment was established in 2002 for the purpose of funding programs and projects in the Northeast corner of Bartholomew County. An advisory board of 15 area residents and community leaders review all grant requests and award funds based on the needs of the rural communities it serves.

The Hawcreek-Flat Rock Area Endowment has fulfilled thousands of dollars in grant requests for a wide cross-section of area organizations and their respective programs and projects. This recipient list includes: Yellow Trail Museum, Hope Volunteer Fire Department, Hope Area Chamber of Commerce, Hope Area Food Bank, Community Center of Hope, Clifford Volunteer Fire Department, Flat Rock - Hawcreek Schools, Art Guild of Hope, Hartsville & Community Volunteer Fire Department, Dollars For Scholars, and others.
